Patreon Launching Soon!

I’ve done all the legwork and it’s about to be official, as soon as I drop the announcement video on my channel.

For those of you who don’t know, Patreon is a platform where you can sign up to give a monthly donation to your favorite content creators, and get cool perks in return! The bigger donation, the better the perks!

For $3 a month, I will mention your name in the credits of every video, and I will follow you on Instagram, subscribe to your YouTube, and like your Facebook page (these are the only social platforms I’m active on currently, and I want to help you grow your own projects too!)

$9 a month gives you all of the above plus you’ll get one question per month answered on a monthly Q&A video! Please keep the questions somewhat family friendly, if it’s too inappropes for the channel I’ll just ask you to submit a new question.

$25 a month is my highest tier, this gives you all of the previous perks, plus once a month you’ll have a chance to submit a song to be critiqued by me on a monthly Song Critique Video. Obviously this is best if it’s your own original composition, but there’s some wiggle room there, keep in mind copyright strikes are a thing though, so please no hurt feelings if I’m unable to do a critique on the song of your choosing. I’ll probably only be able to play a portion of the song on my channel if I end up getting a lot of submissions, but it will get you a chance to be heard by my audience and I will also put your relevant social links on screen for all to see.

I’m at a point in my YouTube stuff where I have a bit of an audience, but I still have a long way to grown until I can monetize my content in the usual ways (ad revenue, sponsorships, etc) so for now the best I can do is Patreon, this is the best platform that you can use to support my cause financially, if you wish to do so!

Money made in this way will be spent to improve the content I offer to my “Patrons”, and to supplement my time spent creating the content… Less hours at work means more hours making music and videos.

This also involves moving my operation into a bigger studio space, which will increase my production quality in a few ways. The first being, if I have more space to spread out, I can properly light my greenscreen, and make the effect much more professional, as well as use some more camera angles in my shots. Producing full on music videos will be possible with more room.

The second being the ability to use other backdrops besides the greenscreen, an in-the-studio set that I film in with no bells and whistles might be a good direction to go sometimes in the future. This will also allow me to leave most of my sound and filming gear set up full-time, making the creation process much more “turn-key”. A lot of my time spent before and after a session is just setting things up only to take them back apart again after, it’s been a lot of wasted time and effort, and certainly a real motivation killer some days.

All financial support is greatly appreciated! Of course, I don’t expect everyone to donate, but if you have a few dollars a month to spare and you dig the content that I create, it helps me out immensely and it means the world to me that there are people out there who enjoy what I do and are willing to support me, in whatever capacity they are able to!
